Franklin Manor 

At Franklin Manor, combine two part infectious social atmosphere with one part craft booze for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. This establishment offers deliciously fresh, handcrafted cocktails that flirt with the experimental at times. Their ‘Tea for Two’ cocktail is an example of just this. Served in hand-decorated, vintage-inspired tea-cups, this berry, fruity, vodka-based cocktail infused with jasmine tea is a fun chance to try something unique. They also serve a selection of premium beers and all of this can be paired with the moreish bar bites from Carriage House Patio Kitchen. With an outside patio space, this spot is great for a group catch-up or to get sociable with the locals of Tampa.

Edison: Food+Drink Lab

Hardly ostentatious about its awards, Edison: Food+Drink Lab is undoubtedly one of Tampa’s best spots for food, beer, wine and cocktails. This place has the whole package. Winner of TimeOut’s Tampa best restaurant award in 2018 and best spot in the Metro Area 2018 and 2019, winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the past 5 years and Restaurant Hospitality’s best cocktails in America two years on the trot, Edison is fast running out of space in its trophy cabinet. With heady libations and indulgent food to pair, this chic warehouse establishment is one to savour in Tampa.

If you prefer your beverages some storeys up, Tampa has some great rooftop bars to enjoy the extraordinary bay scenery. 

 

Rox Rooftop Bar

Rox takes its cocktails seriously. With a rum-based Old Fashioned, smoked sage elixirs and some served in a rose gold chalice, Rox exemplified the mixology artform at its best. It stands atop the Current Hotel in downtown Tampa, with views overlooking the bay, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Perfect for a date-night drink with your significant other, the bar staff’s showmanship uses mixology as performance art to make for a riveting introduction to your cocktail. With top-quality alcohol, sourced from both widely-known and independent distillers, the cocktails are a delight worth visiting.

EDGE Rooftop Bar

Located within the Epicurean Hotel, this classy cocktail lounge is an upmarket establishment perfect for a quiet drink at sunset or a business drink with out-of-town colleagues. The cocktails are all carefully concocted using fresh fruits, garden herbs and deep spices. The wine list, although short, is expertly selected to offer a faultless array of good wines, and the beer, sourced from local microbreweries, is refreshing and always rotating with new ales.

Luna Lounge

Situated at Bulla Gastrobar in the heart of the trendy SoHo and Hyde Park neighbourhoods in Tampa is this rooftop gem. Enjoy a breezy cocktail in the height of the Florida summer and retreat from the heat of downtown to this little Latin enclave. Enjoy bespoke sangrias, frozen rosé, signature cocktails whilst nibbling on upmarket bar bites from the gastrobar.
